Q. What are the first steps?

A:  We recommend filling out the inquiry form that best matches the service you are interested in. This provides us with the information we initially need to see if we are a good fit for your project. If our team has any additional questions we will reach out via email to set up a consultation.  For general questions and inquiries click this link here and we will get back to you in a timely fashion.

Q. Do we need to find a lot first?

A. Our process requires that you already have a lot before we can consider a project for preliminary designs. Our homes are thoughtfully designed to complement the surrounding environments so having a lot is a vital piece in the process.  If you do not have a lot, our sister company Joi Reality can assist you in your search. Their team has extensive knowledge about listings in the community that fit your lifestyle and homeownership goals.

Q. How long does the design and build process take?

A. We understand that this is critical information when considering moving forward on the project. There are many things that play into this timeframe including, project size, site conditions, design process, material availability, and labor.  While our policy states that we can not confirm a construction schedule until we have permits, on average the duration of our design and build projects take up to 18 months to complete.

Q. Do I need an architect?

A. No! Our team works with a licensed architect to create permit-ready floor plans and construction documents that reflect state building codes. The advantage of this partnership allows us to ensure that the design of your home is detailed out exactly as we had envisioned it for you. 

Q. Will I need a contractor?

A. If you are designing and building with the Jordan Iverson Signature Homes team, we act as the general contractor for your project. If you are receiving a custom floor plan then you will need to find a contractor. If needed, our team can help recommend trusted contractors in your area.

Q. Do I need AN interior designer?

A. No. Every project is assigned to one of our talented interior designers who will work with you to consider all interior elements included in your respected service. For design and build clients this includes all interior finishes where as for custom floor plan clients our designers oversee layouts and spacial functions. Our interior designers are also available for additional interior design services through our Interior Furnishing and Interior Finishes packages.

Q. What is the price per Square Foot?

A. While it is common to have a project price/ sqft in the construction industry, we do not price our projects off of sqft because we take your custom design choices into consideration. Pricing is communicated after we learn more about your project.

Q. How does financing work?

A. The most common method of financing a project is cash or construction loan. We are happy to get you more information about our banking partners to help assist in which financing option is best for you.

Q. Where do you offer your services?

A. Our Design and Build Services cater to our local community in the Pacific Northwest. However, we are not geographically limited with our design services. This includes our Custom Floor Plans, Ready-To-Go Plans, Interior Furnishing and Interior Finishes design packages.

Q. Do you take on renovations and additions?

A. Yes! We take on a few select remodels and renovations each year. To inquire about our remodeling service fill out this form so we can learn more about the project. Please keep in mind that our policy requires homeowners to have alternative living accommodations during construction.
